On May 24, at the City of San Diego Historical Resources Board’s 2012 Excellence in Historic Preservation Awards Ceremony over a dozen individuals received “Cultural Landscape” awards for their efforts to restore and repaint a selection of Chicano Park’s world-famous murals.
