San Ysidro Girl Scouts honor founder

Girl Scout Troop 5912 of San Ysidro (San Diego’s largest, with 50+ girl members; led by Irene Barajas) honored Girl Scouts founder Juliette Gordon Low in its Dia de los Muertes altar during a presentation last weekend. The display also celebrates the 151st anniversary of Low’s birth on Oct. 31, 1860. Pictured are Alexa Wells (left) and Montserrat Soriano.
