I would expect over 90% of the guns China or Russia asks the US to trace are found to originate here too. Mexico’s problems arise from total national denial of it’s malaise, anarchy, racism and coruption. Anybody who knows Mexicans or has visited Mexico knows this. Apparently the Mexican government wants to prey on American liberal self loathing to substantiate it’s total lack of function. Fat chance! This is simply why America is great! There are too many here who are educated enough not to trust a word from the left, let alone Mexican leftists.

The article fails to mention that only 17% of the firearms confiscated by the Mexican government were traceable. In fact, many of the confiscated firearms had no serial number or manufacture identification on them. These identifications marks were not scratched off, but never on the weapon to begin with indicating that they manufactured by illegal arms plants.
The article also fails to mention that members of the Mexican military are defecting to the drug cartels daily and taking their weapons with them.

Translation: 93% of the firearms suspected of having come from the U.S. were confirmed to have come from there. It would have been very surprising if this were not the outcome. Those 12 thousand weapons were not picked at random.
