Event brings San Diego’s top builders together with small and historically underutilized firms; more than 30 exhibitors and 300+ attendees expected 

What:   San Diego Community College District is holding its 4th Annual Contractors Networking and Outreach Event, bringing together more than 30 of San Diego’s top builders and specialty trade firms together in one location with small and historically underutilized businesses.  The event provides small, disadvantaged, and minority-, woman- or disabled veteran-owned business enterprises (S/D/M/W/DVBE) an opportunity to market their services or supplies to builders pursuing work on the District’s $1.555 billion Propositions S and N Construction Bond Program.

 As the District moves toward Design/Build projects, proposal teams are required to submit a Subcontracting Participation Plan which must include planned subcontracting for:

  • Small Business Enterprise (SBE)
  • Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE)
  • Minority Business Enterprise (MBE)
  • Woman Business Enterprise (WBE)
  • Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE)

            7:00 a.m. – Check-in/registration
            7:30 – 7:45 a.m. – Welcome and Remarks
            7:45 – 9:00 a.m.
