WHO: City of San Diego Redistricting Commission Residents and Stakeholders
WHAT: Training open to the public on free redistricting mapping software. Residents and stakeholders can learn hands-on at individual computer stations how to create, share, and submit redistricting maps to the Commission.
WHEN: June 23, 2011 from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm
WHERE: Learning Resource Center, San Diego City College, 1313 Park Blvd 92101, Computer Lab Room 105
- Free parking is available on C Street just east of Park Blvd. On-street parking is also available.
- Enter building from ground floor side of building nearest to intersection of Park Blvd and C Street. Directional signs will be posted.
WHY: To enhance public participation and allow residents and stakeholders to create their own redistricting maps, an in-person software training session is being held to provide direct contact with the software trainers to learn how to use the mapping software.
