Dan Hernandez Helps Grant Young Girl's Last Wish

Los Angeles, Ca — Dan Hernandez, producer and host of Sport Fishing With Dan Hernandez make a young anglers last wish come true this past summer. Andrea Milone of Omaha, NE, is a 15 year old young lady who loves to fish, according to her mom Kelly. "Andrea loves to go fishing, she'll go fishing in our local lake everyday if she could." Last year Andrea was diagnosed with a deadly blood disease. According to her mother there is nothing the doctors can do but try to keep her stable. Andrea has to take special medicine three times a week at a cost of $15,000.00 a week.

Dan Hernandez gives a few pointers to Andrea Milone on fishing in the Sea of Cortez.

For several months the call went out from the Hunt of a Lifetime Foundation that Andrea wanted to go fishing outside of the United States. Because of her condition she never is allowed to travel very far from home but since this was her last wish the doctors approved the fishing trip out of the country. "Most of the major television fishing programs afforded to take her fishing, but she didn't want to go bass fishing, she could do that at home," said her mom. "When Andrea's mom called me and asked if I would take her daughter fishing in Mexico for her last wish, I said I'd love to," said Hernandez. This very special episode of Sport Fishing With Dan Hernandez was filmed at Hotel Palmas de Cortez, in the East Cape Region of Baja México. The Van Wormer family, owners of the fishing resort, gave Andrea and her family a free stay at the wonderful resort. Make plans to watch this very special episode as Andrea tries her hand at salwater fishing and watch as she works on a large Baja Billfish.
