Arnold Schwarzenegger Explores A Write-in Campaign

Movie superstar and Republican activist Arnold Schwarzenegger is examining his prospects as a write-in candidate for Governor of California in the November election.

Schwarzenegger was reported to be interested in running against Davis last year. Schwarzenegger associates are known to believe that Davis is very vulnerable aand that Simon is a leaky vessel in which to invest Republican hopes. A Schwarzenegger write-in candidacy would be challenging but hardly impossible. He would merely need to file a statement of candidacy accompanied by 100 signatures by October 22. Then he could launch an advertising campaign, both about the merits of his candidacy and the mechanics of writing in his name.

Oceanside’s Propostion M

Vote YES to Save El Corázon as dedicated public Parkland. Oceanside is nearing build out and there is little land left for future parks. El Corázon is the last large centrally located piece of city owned property available for a park.

La Mesa: Prop 47

Proposition 47, on the November ballot, will authorize a $13.05 billion bond to repair and upgrade existing classrooms, build new schools and make safety improvements to elementary, middle and high schools as well as community colleges and universities.

Because it is not a tax increase, Prop. 47 requires only a simple majority to pass. For more information go to:
