“Concerts on the Green”
** Two performers will switch dates at El Cajon’s weekly Concerts on the Green series of free outdoor concerts every Friday evening on Prescott Promenade in Downtown El Cajon. At the request of the performers, Road House Rock artist Eve Selis will now appear on September 3, while Classic Rock performers The Players will appear on September 10, 2004.

U.S. Under-17 ’88 MNT Travel to Paraguay to Participate in 12-Team CONMEBOL Youth Tournament
CHICAGO The U.S. Under-17 ’88 Men’s National Team has accepted an invitation from CONMEBOL to participate in a South American international tournament from Sept. 11-26 in six venues in the southern part of Paraguay. Along with the U.S., the 12-team tournament includes all 10 CONMEBOL federations and CONCACAF rival Mexico.
