Latino-Owned Accounting Firm to Award College Scholarship

Calderon Jaham & Osborn is pleased to announce its call for entries for the second annual accounting scholarship. High school students, who plan to pursue careers in the field of finance, business, or accounting are encouraged to apply for the $2,000 scholarship to further their education.

"Last year we decided to introduce the accounting scholarship in response to the trend of declining enrollments in college accounting programs," says Thomas J. Saiz, partner at Calderon Jaham & Osborn. "After we saw what a positive effect our scholarship made in the life of the first recipient, Susan Garcia, who is now a freshman at San Diego State, we decided to double to scholarship amount and make an even greater contribution to the community.

Interested students can obtain application guidelines through the firm's web site at www.cjo.com. Or call Sun Marketing at 858-488-2867.
