KUSI NEWS to Air Pre-election Special On October 27

KUSI NEWS will air a one-hour special report titled “Special Election 2005: The Race for Mayor, An In-depth Conversation with the Candidates” on October 27, 2005 at 9pm.  Hosted by KUSI NEWS anchors Paul Bloom and Kimberly Hunt, the special will feature an in-depth look at the San Diego Mayoral Election with interviews featuring candidates Jerry Sanders and Donna Frye.  Also, there will be a detailed look at the California state propositions.  KUSI NEWS continues its recognized tradition of offering more local election coverage than any other station in San Diego.

Southwestern College Hosts Forum On Violent Sexual Predator Matthew Hedge

Politicians, Law Enforcement Representatives, and Community Residents will discuss Hedge’s Release and the Impact on the South Bay Community.

WHAT: South Bay elected officials are joined by law enforcement representatives and community residents to discuss the release of violent sexual predator Matthew Hedge during a forum hosted by Southwestern College (SWC). Forum participants will discuss the conditions and restrictions of Hedge’s release, the impact on the South Bay community, and the options, if any, area residents have.
