Ramona Air Fair
Ramona Air Fair 2002 will take place May 31 - June 2 at Ramona Airport, two miles west of SR 67 on Montecito Road. There will be dancing, hot air balloon lunch with night glow, fireworks, formation flights and more. Admission is $7 per person, $12 per couple. Free for children under 12.
Free Mini Concert
The Community Christian Fellowship Praise Team will perform a short concert on Saturday, June 1, at 2 p.m. in the Oceanside Public Library Civic Center courtyard. Eight singers dressed in traditional Filipino costume will sing gospel and patriotic songs from the Philippines in both English and the Tagalog language. 6th Annual English Tea
The Community Resource Center located in Encinitas is hosting its 6th annual English Tea Saturday, June 1 at 2 p.m. in the garden of St. Michael’s By-the-Sea in Carlsbad. Guests will be treated with elegant refreshments consisting of scones, tea sandwiches, lemon tarts, cream rolls and other delicate confections. “World Cup Fever”

The second annual Encinitas Flower celebration, which features behind the scenes greenhouse tours, will be held on June 1 and 2, beginning at 9 a.m. both days. There will also be stops at an open-air floral marketplace and Quail Botanical Gardens. The behind the scenes tours are walking tours of Greenhouses that will show how plants and flowers are produced from seeds to sales. Tour prices are $15 for adults or a one-day ticket and $25 for a two-day ticket. Children 12 and under are $5 for either ticket. This price includes: bus rides to greenhouses for tours; the tours; stops at the open-air floral marketplace, which is a free event open to the general public, and stops at Quail Botanical Gardens. Model Railroad Museum
The San Diego Model Railroad Museum in Balboa Park presents Circus Family Day on Sunday, June 2, 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Bring the whole family for face painting, circus crafts, build your own model railroad car, and view the circus trains and animated buildings in the toy train gallery.
