RIVERSIDE - Springboard is pleased to announce the addition of Lilia Mojica as southern area manager for the non-profit consumer credit management organization.
Mojica, who brings more than 20 years experience in banking, will supervise counselors and leverage the organiza-tion’s visibility in the greater San Diego area. Mojica will be responsible for community outreach, training and management of counselors, helping ensure the delivery of quality financial and housing counseling by the organization and recommending policies and procedures to improve the quality and efficiency of the organization’s counseling education to consumers.
“We are delighted that Lilia has joined the Springboard team,” said Dianne Wilkman, president and CEO of Springboard. “With her background in financial literacy, we hope to expand our reach to promote money management education within the community.”
Prior to joining Springboard, Mojica served three terms as the president of the Hispanic Bankers association, and was a Junior Achievement consultant for over 15 years. Most recently, Mojica was a national spokesperson for VISA’s Financial Education Program, where she made numerous radio and television appearances related to financial literacy. She also has taught the fundamentals of money management in English and Spanish.
Mojica’s education includes Southwestern College, San Diego State University, American Institute for Banking and Cannon Financial Institute.
Springboard, a non-profit consumer credit management source and member of the National Foundation for Credit Counseling, offers assistance with money management and budgeting through confidential counseling, debt management and education programs for financially troubled consumers.
