Join subversive Chicano cartoonist and all around funny guy Lalo Lopez Alcaraz for a slideshow presentation and discussion of his work as an award-winning political cartoonist, columnist and satirist. A founding member of Chicano Secret Service, Pocho Magazine,,, L.A. Cucaracha and the L.A. Weekly's "Mexiled" column, Alcaraz is a San Diego native and former SDSU Daily Aztec political cartoonist. He will also sign copies of his latest "Cartoonista Calendar" and the book Latino USA: A Cartoon History.

Lalo alcaraz is a one of a kind cartoonist, satirist and writer who captures the essence of the country's changing cultural and political landscape like no other. Bringing ayoung fearless Latino sensibility to his political and social commentary.

In this multi-media presentation, Lalo brings along some of his favorite cartoons and shares his dazzlingkaleidoscope of irreverence, wit, subversion, anarchy, politics, humanism, and rage for an eventful evening.
