Hundreds of fans flocked to various local soccer fields to watch their favorite players shake off the rust of the winter offseason as they prepared for year four of the Major League Soccer. San Jose and Kansas City head coaches Brian Quinn and Ron Newman are well known among local soccer enthusiasts for their roots with the legendary teams of the San Diego Sockers.
