Yvette Aguilar tenBerge Joins La Prensa San Diego Reporting Staff

We are pleased to announce the newest addition to La Prensa San Diego's stable of writers, Yvette Aguilar tenBerge. She arrived from Cusco, Perú, where she was employed as a staff writer with "New World News International" where she covered current events, religious festivals, culture, Latin News, and participated in marketing, advertising and design duties.

Yvette is a local girl who was born and raised in Ramona, Calif. She attended Elementary and High School in Ramona. She went further afield for her higher education. She attended Johns Hopkins University, in Baltimore where she earned her B.A. in Creative writing. Later, she went on to the New York University where she earned her Masters in Journalism & Latin American/Caribbean Studies.

Yvette started out her career with "Social Media Productions in New York, NY where she worked as a Research Assistant on various PBS documentary series. After that experience, she went to work with Group XXVII Communications in New York City as an assistant to the Vice President of Advertising. She was part of the executive planning committee that launched "Arthur Frommer's Budget Travel Magazine."

Yvette will be a general reporter covering "all the news worth covering" en Español ó English!
