Christmas Holiday Schedule

“Messiah”

This humble expression of faith has transcended religion and cultures to become the most beloved oratorio in history. San Diego Symphony is proud to present this holiday masterpiece December 13, 14 & 15 at Copley Symphony Hall, 750 B Street, downtown San Diego. A Musical Spectacular

Returning to the East County Performing Arts Center with 15 performances from December 14 – 23 at ECPAC, 210 E. Main Street in El Cajon. Using a wide variety of music, dance, drama and color to bring all your favorite Christmas traditions to life on stage. Home for the Holidays

Presented by the San Diego Choraleers and Serra-Naders adult choruses, as well as the Inflections vocal jazz group, Women of Note, and Radar & the Blips, on Saturday, December 14 at 7:00 p.m. at Patrick Henry High School Auditorium 6702 Wandermere Drive, San Carlos. Toy Train Workshop

The San Diego Model Railroad Museum is all decked out for the holidays and invites you to join the fun on Sunday, December 15, 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Activities include making railroad ornaments, holiday cards, face painting, refreshments, and a special reading of The Polar Express. Feast of Lights

The Concert Series of First Presbyterian Church will present the Feast of Lights on Sunday evening, December 15 at 7:00 p.m. and Monday, December 16 at 7:30 p.m. The climax of this inspirational evening is a candlelighting ceremony. Candelabra are lit throughout the entire sanctuary to depict the spread of the gospel light to the entire world. Then on the platform, the Living Nativity is depicted by actors in full costume. Annual Holiday Pops

On December 20-22, the San Diego Symphony rings in the holiday season with its annual Holiday Pops concerts. Community performing arts groups such as the Crusader Bells, San Diego Children’s Chorale, and the San Diego Master Chorale join the Symphony in the musical celebration. The Nutcracker

San Diego Ballet announces Winter Schedule for holiday favorite The Nutcracker December 20 through the 22nd. They will also perform two student matinees on December 20.
