KUSI Announces 13th Annual “Songs of the Holiday Season”

There has probably never been a more expansive Community Outreach program in local television than KUSI’s “Songs of the Holiday Season”. Over the past 13 years, more than 350 choirs, including 10,000 individuals, have walked through the San Diego television station’s doors to participate in the annual Holiday Special. KUSI views the program as its gift to the community, including the students, parents and teachers who keep music alive in our schools.

This year, KUSI’s “Songs of the Holiday Season” will once again be hosted by “Good Morning San Diego” anchor Susan Lennon, and air both Christmas Eve (8-10pm) and Christmas Day (both at 10am and 8pm). Students from San Diego City and County schools, as well as the Temecula Valley, will appear.

No other station in San Diego is as committed to community involvement as KUSI. Airing seven and one half hours of local news daily, KUSI is the station viewers turn to first for both breaking local news stories and coverage of local charity events. “Songs of the Holiday Season” is just one part of its year-round commitment to the community.
