Miguel Lopez and Esteban Cerutti, two local musicians with an extensive musical background, bring their talent together to give an original concert of Latin American Harp, classical guitar, and vocals.

Miguel is a harpist specializing in South American and Mexican folk harp music. Originally from San Antonio, Texas, he traveled to the Mexican state of Veracruz and researched the techniques of harp music with the oldest masters of the instrument throughout the state. He later learned Paraguayan and other South American harp styles.

Miguel performs extensively and is committed to reviving the use and appreciation of this beautiful instrument.

Esteban Cerutti, internationally known singer and guitarist, has performed extensively in France, England, Switzerland, Czechoslovakia, and Mexico. He was also invited to perform in China. Originally from Argentina, Esteban resided in Mexico where he recorded the song: “O Quizá Simplemente te Regale Una Rosa”, which became a hit song for nine consecutive months.

Miguel and Esteban have worked together for several years, and collaborate on each other’s projects and presentations. These accomplished musicians have achieved a very refined style, and their music is vibrant. They have designed educational programs for different levels, and have created an interesting workshop which focuses on the history of the harp, and Latin American musical rhythms.

In their concert, Miguel and Esteban will include some of the best known selections from Latin America; songs from Mexico, Peru, Venezuela, Paraguay, Brazil, as well as original compositions. Come and enjoy this exciting concert with the beautiful sounds of the Paraguayan harp, guitar, and vocals.
