"Fifty four years ago, in a small ranch, owned by Grandfather Gonzalez, near Tepatitlán, nestled high in the valleys of Los Altos de Jalisco, a son was born to Florencio and Maria Luz Gonzalez. The date was December 16, 1945." As was the religious custom, the man-child was immediately baptized in the small Chapel: "La Capilla de La Virgen de Guadalupe." At the moment, these events did not carry particular significance.
