BARRIO BOOKFEST 2004, scheduled to take place May 14-15 at Memorial Academy Charter School in San Diego’s Barrio Logan, is a first ever grassroots book festival focusing on issues related to social justice and human rights from a Chicano perspective.

This event is free to the public and will feature readings, panel discussions, workshops, book signings, live music and much more! With your help we are planning to make this event become an annual occurrence.
