Susan Corrales-Diaz, president and chief executive officer of Systems Integrated in San Diego, has been elected to serve on the board of directors of the Automobile Club of Southern California.
During her three-year term, Corrales-Diaz will help guide the AutoClub in developing business and public affairs strategies that best serve the needs of its membership, which now totals nearly five million in 13 Southern California counties.
"Visionary business leaders like Ms. Corrales-Diaz are essential in helping the Auto Club fulfill its mission of world-class service to its members," said Tom McKernan, president and chief executive officer of the Auto Club.
Under Corrales-Diaz' management, Systems Integrated transformed itself from a defense contractor into an international commercial provider of automation systems for control of electric, telecommunications and water systems.
The company has been honored by the state of California, the U.S. Small Business Administration, international trade associations, and the California Society of Professional Engineers as a top exporter of innovative products.
