Fans can purchase four or more select tickets and receive them for the general admission price
Family Day is set for Saturday’s Mountain West Conference home opener against Utah and fans are encouraged to take advantage of a special ticket deal. Fans who purchase four or more Reserved Seat tickets will receive them for the $12 General Admission seat price, a savings of $10 per ticket. Tickets can be purchased online at goaztecs.com or by calling the Aztec Ticket Office (619) 283-SDSU. Game time is set for 1 p.m. on Jan. 10.
The Aztecs (11-3, 1-0 MWC) are off to their best start in 24 seasons with their 11-3 record. They were led by D.J. Gay’s 15 points last Saturday to take the MWC opener at Air Force. Utah (9-5, 1-0 MWC) also won their conference-opener, beating Wyoming 91-67 on Friday.
Tickets are also available for the women’s MWC season opener when they host Air Force on Wednesday, Jan. 7, on Girl Scouts Night. The Aztecs, who are receiving votes in the AP poll, are coming off of their historic victory after knocking off fourth-ranked and previously unbeaten Texas, 60-55, to claim their first-ever San Diego Surf ‘N Slam title. Tip off is set for 6 p.m.
Fans should take advantage of a few opportunities as the women host Girl Scouts Night. In addition to the tickets that have already been donated to the Girl Scouts, kids ages 3-14 can receive a free general admission ticket to the women’s contest with the purchase of a $7 general admission adult ticket. Fans should also take advantage of the MWC Weeknight Meal Deal, where a soda, hot dog and chips at the game cost just $6.
