Blanket & Toy Drive

The BEMCC (Binational Emergency Medical Care Committee) is hosting its annual blanket, food and toy drive to benefit families and children living in underprivileged neighborhoods throughout San Diego County and south of the border.

Every year many children and elderly people die due to extreme weather cold temperatures. These families live in cardboard homes, or homes made of aluminum with leaky roofs. These are poor families who cannot afford to buy warm clothing and blankets.

Donations of new blankets, sleeping bags, receiving blankets, food, children’s toys and money donations are greatly appreciated. A warm blanket could save a life. Donations to BEMCC’s “Operation Blanket Drive” can be made at the following locations:

· BEMCC, 642 Third Avenue, Suite I, Chula Vista, 91910, (619) 425-5080

· Law Offices of Terry Singleton, 1950 5th Avenue Suite 200, San Diego, CA 92101

· San Diego Police Department Southern Division Sgt. Juan Gonzalez-(619) 424-0207
