The EastLake Educational Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to raising money for technology and educational opportunities, will host its 13th annual Golf Tournament on Monday, August 18, 2008. San Diego Padres and EastLake High School graduates Adrian and Edgar Gonzalez are scheduled to play in the tournament, which will be held at the EastLake Country Club. Proceeds from the event benefit all six of the EastLake community’s public schools.
Entry fees are $150 per person or $550 per foursome. Registrants can also enter to a drawing to win a chance to play with a Padres player. Tournament entry fees include green fees & golf cart, golf apparel, awards and opportunity prizes, specialty holes, lunch, beverages throughout the day and dinner. Additional dinner tickets are available for purchase at $20 each. In addition to the tournament, there will also be a putting contest, live and silent auctions and photo opportunities.
The tournament follows scramble rules and players must wear soft spikes and golf attire. Space in the tournament is limited to 144 players. To download the registration form, visit www.EEFkids.org. Registration closes on August 11.
