“Day of the Dead” -- “Día de los Muertos”

Join us in Sherman Heights on November 3rd & 4th to celebrate the “Day of the Dead” from 11-5pm.

*Please note that the community center will have food/crafts/Aztec dance and other activities available for adults and children!

Day of the Dead is a traditional celebration in which we honor our departed loved ones. We create altars with flowers, incense and objects of our loved ones special interest. We hope you take time to come down and join us in this great celebration.

Anna and William Hamilton house located at 1940 Market St., decorated with an altar created by Maria Bolivar. Visitors will have an opportunity to tour other Victorian Homes in the area, celebrating the Día de los Muertos.

Muertos: A Day of the Dead Play has been rescheduled

The University of San Diego and Theatre Arts Program production of MUERTOS: A Day of the Dead Play, has been rescheduled and will be performed Friday and Saturday - Nov 2 and 3 at 7:30 p.m. We sincerely hope you will join us for a magical theatrical experience.

Tickets available in advance at the USD Hahn University Center 619/260-2727, $11 General Admission, $8 Student, Senior, Faculty/Staff, $5.00 children under 12 years. Some strong language — Parental Discretion Advised.
