Akiane (Ah-key-ah-nah) Kramarik may appear to be like any other carefree twelve-year-old, but her mind is filled with visions of God, angels, and Heaven the constant inspiration for her work. An internationally recognized child prodigy, considered the only known child binary genius in both realist painting and poetry, she is more than a talented painter. She is a person with a mission: “I want my art to draw people’s attention to God and I want my poetry to keep their attention on God.”
The third of five children, Akiane was never exposed to spiritual matters in her once atheist home. Unexpectedly, at the age of four, she began sharing her detailed visions about heaven and events on earth. Soon after, she began drawing and painting stunning portraits. When Akiane started writing poetry a few years later, the divine source for the wisdom of her writings and her art became clear. She and her family openly embraced the power and guidance of God in all aspects of their life.
Now twelve years old, she paints, writes, and composes music from her home in Northern Idaho. To date, Akiane has painted over 60 large scale paintings featuring inspiring images of Jesus, Mary, nature, and people that move her. Her original artwork is currently held in public and private collections around the world, including at the US Embassy in Singapore.
Her complete biography, along with reproductions of her art, accompanied by poetry, is included in her first book Akiane: Her Life, Her Art, Her Poetry. A four-year anthology of Akiane’s writings is included in her second book Akiane: My Dream Is Bigger Than I memories of tomorrow.
