We need your support, please.
As most of you know, Vista Community Clinic has many outreach services and programs to the migrant population in the North County/North Coastal area.
As part of the outreach, we provide daily life items such as toiletries, food, etc.- when ever we have it available. For the most part routine deliveries are sufficient.
The Outreach staff just informed me that they found a camp site in Encinitas where there is an urgent need for food, blankets, warm clothing, towels and toiletries.
We would like to ask your support in a few ways:
1)Donation of the above listed items or gift cards to purchase the items.
2)Distribution of this infomation to others whom you think would be able to assist or donate.
I know there always seems to be a need to give in our community; it’s never ending. But I need to tell you, our outreach workers are use to seeing poor conditions and ‘need’, so when they come back and are ‘shocked’ at the conditions they found we know the need is severe.
One blanket, one bag of food, etc., is all it takes to make a difference! We appreciate the support and the timely response.
If you would like to make a donation, please call me or drop the items off at the address below. I can make other arrangements as needed. Also, if you need additional information call me, I’m happy to answer any questions you may have.
NOTE: If you are attending the NCLA conference at Pala Casino on Saturday, I will be there and will be happy to receive any donation there.
Thank you so very much for your time and attention. Again, even sharing the information really helps!
I’ll wait to hear from you,
