USA Federal Announces Opening of Martin P. Cassell Scholarship Applications

USA Federal Credit Union announced that applications for the 2007 Martin P. Cassell Scholarship program are now available. The program expects to award five $1,500 scholarships in 2007. The Member Relations Committee of the Board of Directors will select the five scholarship recipients. These recipients will be notified before the end of the school year. The “Martin P. Cassell Scholarship” is named after USA Federal’s former CEO, who died in a tragic automobile accident in 2000. Applicants are typically noted by high academic, athletic, cultural and community distinction.

Eligibility Requirements: Applicants for these scholarships must be college bound senior students and a member of USA Federal Credit Union for one year prior to March 15, 2007, or the child of a member of USA Federal Credit Union who has been a member for one year prior to March 15, 2007.

Application Instructions: The completed application with the essay and an official school transcript through the 7th semester should be mailed to: USA Federal Credit Union, Attn: Neva Buckhanon, Director of Business Development, 9999 Willow Creek Road, San Diego, CA 92131-1117.

Applications must be postmarked no later than March 15, 2007. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
