Feliz Navidad – Merry Christmas

Christmas is about the birth of Christ, salvation, and hope. Christmas is also about Santa Claus, presents, the children, and the end of a year. Christmas is about many different things and for each and every person it means something special. Christmas is the time of the year that we all look forward to.

At La Prensa San Diego we would like to take this time and celebrate in the birth of Christ and join with you in the joy of the Holiday Spirit.

This Holiday Season marks the end of our 30th year in having the privilege of being able to bring to you the news of the year, as we like to say through our Brown Eyes. Throughout the year we are able to talk with you and bring your thoughts and concerns forward in the pages of La Prensa. You offer us the chance to share our ideas and thoughts with you through the editorial pages and for this we thank you.

We endeavor, with each and every issue, to move forward and create change for the Chicano/Hispanic community, to make this place, this time, a better place for us to live, succeed and enjoy life. Our staff, our reporters, freelancers, and our delivery personnel work at the best of their ability to bring to you the news each and every week. This is an effort we have been doing every week for 30 years without missing a beat.

The best gift we believe we have to offer you is our promise to try even harder, to do our best, to continue to bring forth your concerns and viewpoint, and work toward what we believe is in the best interest of the community.

We Wish You the Happiest of Holidays -- Feliz Navidad.
